A Letter to You

This may come to bite me in the ass, but right now, I'm not really caring. So here goes nothing:

Hey You!

Yes you. I'm very frustrated. I really am. With you.

You know, you're okay. But really, who are you?

I hate it when the weather is gloomy, and I'm in a pensive mood.

Things That I Could Do When I Don't Have Volleyball Training...

...overtime. A LOT of overtime.
...watch TV.
...yell at the stupid characters of a crappy show.
...wonder why I watch such crap.
...fiddle with the computer at home.
...do something wrong and crash the damn computer.
...cuss at myself for being such an idiot.
...reformat the hard drive and re-install the operating system.
...watch a movie or two. Or three. In a week.
...watch a DVD from my collection every night. And by collection, I mean the extended edition of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Jake Gyllenhaal's ouvre, and obscure indie movies.
...write reviews for movies that I've watched.
...surf the net.
...post at Fan Forum. For 5 hours a day. At least. Lord.

...wonder why I have no life.

Dear reader, if you start your comment with "Awww...", so help me God, I may have to smack you. Heh.

3-Day Recap

Friday
Morning
I took the day off to accomplish my NBI clearance. Very useful tip: Go to the Manila NBI office at around 7:30-8:00 am. You will get your copy of your NBI clearance after 50 minutes tops. The most interesting part of that morning was that I ran into "Bogart" again.

"Bogart" was me and my friend's favorite barista at Starbucks PSE. When we would buy coffee, he'd always be ready with a, "Hi Pao! Hi Tina!" Sadly, we didn't know his name, so we christened him with names such as "Roger" and "Robert" whenever we talked about him. Again, sadly, "Bogart" stuck. Anyway, he's not a barista anymore. I didn't expect to see him again, but I ran into him at Greenbelt 3, and for the second time, last Friday. Funny how I keep running into the guy.

My mother then took me to Quiapo Church. It was my first time to go there. Now, I'm not a prayerful person, and I'm not all too enthusiastic to go to Church at times, but it was a very nice experience.

Noon
We then went to SM Manila to pass time while waiting for my sister. We didn't know that it was the start of a 3-day sale, so our credit cards got into some action. I bought two ridiculously inexpensive shirts -- with an "S" afer "SIZE:" on the tag, by the way. Heh. Also, I bought a pair of ridiculously expensive Oakley glasses -- Cobalt blue Wiretap frame with multi-coated transition lenses. Actually, my parents bought them. They'll pay for it until I get the money from reimbursing the receipts from my Dad's maintenance drugs. [Insert "Palamunin pa rin si Pao," comment here.] Hee.

Night
Volleyball! We won! Yay! Afterwards, I met up with some friends from the office for some beers. Yay!

Saturday
Very Early in the Morning
Still drinking! Waiting for a cab was a real pain in the ass, after.

Noon
Volleyball, again. We won! Yay! Bittersweet victory, though. We went up against our Team B.

Afternoon
Ate lunch at Fazoli's in Eastwood. God, last time I ate there, I was back in college in one of those spur of the moment lunch outs.

Night
Volleyball! Again! But we lost. Boo. It was a valiant fight, though. I'm proud of my team.

Sunday
Slept. Ate. Watched TV. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
